These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Taskbird website (taskbird.co) and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. About Taskbird
Taskbird provides managed virtual assistant services to businesses in the UAE and beyond. We match businesses with dedicated remote professionals who work under our supervision and management framework.
2. Services
Our services include, but are not limited to, providing virtual assistants for administrative support, data entry, bookkeeping, customer support, CRM management, social media management, and other business operations tasks.
The specific scope of services will be discussed and agreed upon during the onboarding process. Any changes to the agreed scope must be communicated and confirmed in writing.
3. Client obligations
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when booking a consultation or signing up for services
- Communicate tasks, expectations, and deadlines clearly to your assigned virtual assistant
- Not request your virtual assistant to perform illegal, unethical, or harmful activities
- Make timely payments as agreed in your service plan
- Respect working hours and boundaries of your assigned virtual assistant
4. Pricing and payment
Service fees are based on the plan selected during onboarding. All prices are listed in AED unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is due at the beginning of each service period
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Taskbird reserves the right to adjust pricing with 30 days written notice
- Late payments may result in suspension of services
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary and sensitive information shared during the course of the engagement. Taskbird ensures that all virtual assistants sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) before being assigned to any client. Confidential information shall not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent.
6. Intellectual property
Any work product created by a Taskbird virtual assistant on behalf of a client belongs to the client, unless otherwise agreed. Taskbird retains ownership of its own proprietary systems, processes, training materials, and methodologies.
7. Non-solicitation
During the term of service and for a period of 12 months thereafter, the client agrees not to directly hire, contract, or solicit any Taskbird virtual assistant or employee without prior written agreement from Taskbird. Violation of this clause may result in a recruitment fee.
8. Backup and replacement
In the event that your assigned virtual assistant is unavailable due to illness, leave, or other circumstances, Taskbird will provide a trained backup assistant to ensure continuity. If you are unsatisfied with your assigned assistant, you may request a replacement by contacting your account manager.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days written notice. In case of termination:
- The client is responsible for payment of services rendered up to the termination date
- Taskbird will ensure a smooth handover of all work, files, and access credentials
- Taskbird reserves the right to terminate services immediately in case of breach of these Terms
10. Limitation of liability
Taskbird provides services on an "as is" basis. While we strive to deliver high-quality support, we do not guarantee specific business outcomes. Taskbird shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the client in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Website use
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
- Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any content from the website without permission
- Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
12. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
13. Changes to these terms
Taskbird reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
